A Website That Earns Its Place in Your Sales Process

I build websites and online stores that load fast, rank on Google and turn visitors into enquiries — on WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce or custom, depending on what the job actually needs. 8+ years, 200+ projects across 15+ industries.

Most websites don't underperform because they look wrong. They underperform because they're slow, hard to find, and unclear about what to do next.

I'll look at your current site and send you what's costing you traffic and enquiries. No call required.

The problem

What an Underperforming Website Actually Costs

A website that doesn't work rarely fails loudly. It just quietly sends fewer enquiries than it should, and nobody can point to the reason.

The four usual causes

Cause 1

It's slow.

Most people leave a page that takes more than three seconds to load, and on mobile connections many sites take considerably longer. Speed also affects where you rank, so a slow site loses visitors twice — some never arrive, and some arrive and leave.

Cause 2

Google can't find it, or doesn't trust it.

Missing page titles, no structure, thin content, broken links, no schema. Competitors with worse services rank above you because their site is technically sound and yours isn't.

Cause 3

It doesn't tell visitors what to do.

No clear next step, a contact form buried on a separate page, no phone number visible on mobile. Traffic arrives and leaves without converting.

Cause 4

It's a maintenance liability.

Outdated plugins, no backups, no updates, a theme from a developer who's gone. It works until the day it doesn't, and then it's an emergency.

For online stores specifically

  • Checkout drop-off from too many steps or missing local payment options
  • Product pages that don't answer the questions customers actually ask
  • Inventory maintained by hand across the store and your accounts system
  • A platform whose per-transaction costs have quietly outgrown the alternatives
Honest counterpoint

If your site is reasonably fast and structured properly, a rebuild probably isn't your problem — traffic or offer is. I'll say so in the review rather than selling you a new site you don't need.

Not sure which of these applies to you? Send your URL and I'll tell you.

What I build

What I Build

Five kinds of work. The first two are most of the volume.

Business Websites

Marketing sites for businesses whose website is their primary sales channel — service pages, case studies, enquiry forms, blog, the structure search engines need and the clarity visitors need.

More detail

Built on WordPress when your team needs to edit it themselves, or on Next.js when speed and search performance matter more than in-house editing.

Typical scope2–5 weeks.

Ecommerce Stores

Online stores on Shopify, WooCommerce or custom — product catalogue, checkout, payment and shipping integration, inventory sync, and the analytics to see where buyers drop off.

More detail

Includes the local details that get missed: payment methods your customers actually use, delivery options that match how you ship, and checkout flows built for mobile.

Typical scope4–8 weeks depending on catalogue size and integrations.

Website Rebuilds & Migrations

Moving off an outdated site, a platform that no longer fits, or a build nobody can maintain — without losing your search rankings.

More detail

The part that matters most is the part usually skipped: URL mapping, redirects, and preserving the pages that already bring you traffic. A rebuild that loses your rankings is a net loss regardless of how it looks.

Typical scope3–6 weeks.

Speed & Technical SEO Optimization

Work on an existing site rather than a replacement. Core Web Vitals, image and asset optimization, caching, database cleanup, crawl and indexing fixes, schema markup.

More detail

Often the highest-return option available, because you keep the site you have and fix what's suppressing it.

Typical scope1–3 weeks. Usually the cheapest thing on this page and frequently the most effective.

Maintenance & Support

Updates, backups, security monitoring, uptime checks and a person to call when something breaks.

Typical scopeMonthly retainer.

Not sure which of these you need? The free review tells you whether it's a rebuild or a fix.

Which platform

Which Platform Is Right for You

The honest answer is that it depends on who maintains the site and what it has to do. Here's how I'd decide.

PlatformRight whenWrong when
WordPressYour team updates content themselves, you need a blog, and the budget is moderateYou need speed above all, or the site depends on many plugins doing custom work
ShopifyYou're selling products and want the platform to handle payments, hosting and securityYour margins make transaction fees expensive, or you need unusual checkout logic
WooCommerceYou're already on WordPress, want full control, and can handle the maintenanceYou want to avoid managing hosting, updates and security yourself
Next.js (custom)Speed and search performance are the priority, or the site connects to other systemsNon-technical staff need to change layouts and add pages freely

On WordPress

WordPress powers a large share of the web for good reasons: your team can edit it, the ecosystem is huge, and hiring for it is easy. It becomes a problem when a site accumulates twenty plugins to do what should have been built properly once. That's a build problem, not a WordPress problem, and it's usually fixable without leaving the platform.

WordPress-specific work →

On Shopify versus WooCommerce

Shopify costs more per month and per transaction, and removes most of the operational burden. WooCommerce costs less and hands you that burden. For most stores under a certain volume Shopify is the better economic choice; past that point the fees start to matter. I'll run the actual numbers for your volume rather than giving you a rule of thumb.

I build on all four. Which one I recommend depends on who maintains it, what it connects to, and what it has to do in two years — not on what I prefer to work in.

Performance & search

Built to Be Found and Fast to Load

A good-looking site that loads slowly and isn't structured for search is a brochure nobody reads. Every build includes the technical work that decides whether it gets seen.

Every build

Performance

  • Core Web Vitals targeted from the start, not fixed afterwards
  • Images served in modern formats at the right size for each device
  • Fonts self-hosted and subset so text renders immediately
  • Caching, compression and a CDN configured properly
  • Scripts loaded only where they're needed
  • Mobile treated as the primary case, because most of your traffic is mobile
Every build

Search

  • Clean URL structure and internal linking that makes sense to crawlers
  • Unique titles and meta descriptions on every page, not templated
  • Schema markup for the business, services, products, reviews and FAQs
  • XML sitemap, robots configuration, Search Console verified
  • Heading structure that reflects the content rather than the design
  • Redirects mapped page by page on every migration
Every build

Answer engines (AEO/AIO)

  • FAQ answers written so the first sentence is a complete answer
  • Business details consistent across the site, schema and Google Business Profile
  • Content structured so AI systems can extract facts cleanly

This last point matters more each year. A growing share of searches end in an AI-generated answer rather than a click, and the sites cited in those answers are the ones with clear structure and consistent facts.

Realistic targets

I target 90+ on desktop and 80+ on mobile for content sites. Sites with heavy visual effects or many third-party scripts — chat widgets, analytics, ad pixels — score lower, and each of those is a trade-off you decide knowingly rather than discovering later.

How It Works

Step 1Free, no call needed

Free Website Review

Send me your URL. I'll look at speed, search setup, structure and conversion, and send you the specific issues costing you traffic and enquiries. No call needed unless you want one.

Step 2

Proposal

Fixed price, fixed scope, fixed timeline. Page count, platform, integrations and what's excluded, all written down.

Step 3

Design & Build

Design approval first, then build. You review on a staging URL before anything goes live.

Step 4

Launch

Migration with redirects mapped page by page, Search Console and analytics configured, speed verified after launch rather than assumed.

FAQ

Web & Ecommerce — Common Questions

How much does a website cost?

Business websites start from [PRICE] and ecommerce stores from [PRICE]. The figure depends on page count, custom design versus adapted, and what the site connects to. Speed and SEO fixes on an existing site start from [PRICE], which is often the better first spend.

How long does it take to build a website?

A business website typically takes 2 to 5 weeks and an ecommerce store 4 to 8 weeks from approved design. The main variable is usually content — how quickly text, images and product data arrive. Builds wait on content far more often than on development.

Should I use WordPress, Shopify or a custom build?

WordPress if your team edits content themselves. Shopify if you're selling products and want payments, hosting and security handled for you. Custom if speed and search performance are the priority or the site connects to other systems. I'll recommend based on your situation, not my preference.

Will a new website hurt my Google rankings?

It can, if the migration is handled badly. Rankings are lost when URLs change without redirects and existing content is dropped. Every rebuild I do maps old URLs to new ones page by page and preserves the pages already bringing you traffic.

Can you fix my existing site instead of rebuilding it?

Often, yes, and it's usually the better spend. If your site is structurally sound but slow or badly configured, speed and SEO work costs a fraction of a rebuild and can deliver most of the improvement. The free review tells you which situation you're in.

Do you write the content?

I write the structure, the page framework and the SEO elements — titles, headings and meta descriptions. Full copywriting can be included as an add-on. Most clients supply their own content and I edit it for search and clarity.

Who owns the website and the hosting?

You do. The domain, hosting account, platform licence and all files are registered in your name, not mine. You can move to another developer at any point without needing anything from me.

Do you work with clients outside Pakistan?

Yes. I work with clients in the US, UK, UAE, Australia and Europe alongside local businesses in Karachi and across Pakistan. Everything runs remotely, with calls scheduled in your timezone.
